To keep your PC in good working order, it’s important to ensure that any clutter and unused files are removed on a regular basis , Temporary files are stored on the hard drive and they can fill up your TEMP folders , Regular maintenance can help to speed things up and free up a lot of space for that reason we have coded a small tool “Temp Cleaner” it can clean up your temp folder easily (just run it). The software only deletes unused files in the “%Temp%” and “%SystemRoot%\Temp” folders. Some files and folders may not be deleted if they are being used

A suggestion might be, that you delete the files with the .tmp extension to remove more junk, but that’s your decision.
I think every Wizzer should know this.
In reality, there are 2 TEMP folders, Windows has thrown them into 1 heap for convenience but the best thing is to separate them and move them to another HD/SSD, for the benefit of your performance.
There is also a %TMP% to which the internet tempory directory is referred, such as F:\_TMP\\internet
ANYTHING that gets into this %TMP% can erase a without any problems, HOWEVER, everything that ends up in the %TEMP%, you need basic ADMIN rights for that.
In this way one can separate ‘user’ & ‘admin’ remnants
Thanks, only need delete the temp files.
My PC is a Notebook with Win10 Home Single Lenguage Ver 1607, can run without problems?
Temp Cleaner’s only clean % Temp% folder. If the program is run with administrator privileges, it will also delete the contents of the %temp% and % WinDir%\Temp folders under the administrator.
What is the difference between this and the Disk Cleanup microsoft tool?
it doesn’t have a GUI, just shows how many files it has cleaned (on the clock)
