If you click on any button in the software interface, you will start using one of the secure dns. The software applies the corresponding secure dns change on all network cards when one of the buttons is clicked. Use the “Default Dns” button to return to your default dns settings.
If secure dns has ipv6 support, the software will automatically assign secure ipv6 dns . If you want to go back to your previous dns before using dns angel, all you need to do is use the Restore Dns button.
To aid in blocking inappropriate websites, DNS Angel uses only family safe DNS IP’s. For more info, please visit Family Safe DNS providers: Yandex Family , Open Dns Parental Control , Cleanbrowsing , Neustar , Norton Family DNS (Retired)
How to Add your own DNS IP addresses
In this release DNS Angel read DnsAngel.ini file to show safe DNS ip addresses , this allows you to change the dns ips easily. If you want to add your own Dns address, right click DnsAngel.ini file and open it with Notepad or any other text editor , find the [DnsAngel_list] line and edit following DNS Adresses and Names.
Important : The browser may not detect the DNS change unless you close the browser. Even if you close the browser, it may still be running in the background. The best solution might be something like logging out and logging in again.
NOTE: You can use Google SafeSearch to Block (filter) explicit search results on Google. It is not 100% accurate but can help you avoid inappropriate search results on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Thank you for verifying that Metacert DNS does still work. I swear that before, I can’t remember how long it was ago maybe 4-6months ago now, It was not working for me. My connection to the internet on all my PC’s when down. But My Modem/router still had Connection. Once I switched the DNS server back to normal/default. It worked right away again. Strange, it was this way for awhile so I thought (to my dismay) that I had to abandon using it. =(
but yeah I see that it is still working fine again. very strange indeed. But again thank you for verifying this. =)

Metacert DNS doesn’t work anymore. It is not your program that is wrong. The DNS servers at metacert have been taken down and are no longer being used. Could you please update your addon to take this option off because if you try and change it to this option. Your computer will not be able to access the internet.

I’m using dnsangel and it’s very cool. However I’m having some problems related to DNS server. I searched and some website said to set the Preferred DNS server to 208.67.222.222 and the Alternate DNS server to 208.67.220.220. And so far so good. But, is it safe?? I thought that DNS Angel would automatically set my dns.
