Tested , NO such Problem. Probably Something is sending an input message to the system, which cancels the idle state. Try Auto turning off the monitor function from power management. If the monitor does not turn off in the specified time, there is a problem in the system.
hey thanks for the app. every feature works for me except the "lock system when idle" feature. ive tried both 1 and 10 minutes, both 32/64 versions and running as admin without luck. is there an easy fix for this? thanks
It is normal , why Don’t you selected KeyFreeze with this window ?
I tried your solution and the only thing that happened was that my system32 folder opened. Note that I am running Windows 10 Pro x64, and was trying to run your 64-bit version of KeyFreeze. I hope there is an easier way to do this… 😉
Hi mark , could you please try following methode ;
Download the following file and extract it (Password:sordum).
Web Link …
Run Auto_Start.vbe in "En" folder and choose "KeyFreeze.exe" it will be added on Task scheduler to run every startup.
I installed KeyFreeze v1.4 on Windows 10 Pro, and it works great. Unfortunately, it will not launch upon system restart.
Aside from having "Lock On Startup" in Options checked, and ensuring that KeyFreeze is in my Startup folder, it does not launch, while other Startup apps do.
What am I missing?
Thanks for your comment we can try to add it
Could you add an option to blur the screen please..
We have checked it and there is no such an Issue
Sometimes the program freezes and when I try to unlock it again, does not unlock . when will the new version release
(Program donuyor bazen ve Tekrardan kilit açmaya çalıştığımda açılmıyor yeni sürümü gelicek mi?)
Methode 1
1. Copy KeyFreeze to another partition such as D:\
2. Open Run dialog Box with Win + R Keyboard shortcut
3. run "shell:startup" command
4. copy Keyfreeze shortcut (Not itself) in to the startup folder
Methode 2
Download the following file and extract it (Password:sordum).

Run Auto_Start.vbe in "En" folder and choose "KeyFreeze.exe" it will be added on Task scheduler to run every startup.
I would like to know how to get this to properly run on startup on windows 10. Every time I configure the keyfreeze to run on start up, it doesn’t seem to run on it’s own. If I put it in the startup folder, it works, but also opens the config file in notepad every time. Am I missing something? I have tried it on several machines and several reboots but it won’t start on startup unless it’s in the start up folder.
Thank you for this nice little helper. I would also love to see a hybrid mode disabling the physical keyboard and keeping the virtual keyboard alive, since I struggling with the same issues as described by Angel.
Thank you Andy
Very useful application! I primarily use it to clean my computer without having to worry about accidentally pressing anything.
Thanks , may not be immediately.
Thank you for your fast answer. I hope you find a solution for it.
I will be watching for news from you 😀
