If you’ve been searching the web to understand how to test image files in QEMU, you’ve come to the right place. Our freeware, QEMU Simple Boot, simplifies the process.. It is a generic machine emulator and virtualizer. What does this mean? Imagine you have an ISO file which needs testing. You would first need to burn it to a disc, wasting time and a CD/DVD, or you could install a virtual drive and mount the ISO. But there is an easier way … QEMU Simple Boot.
how to use it:
Download the ZIP and extract it to the folder of your choice, then run Qsib.exe. The application is is very simple to use – just drag and drop your .iso, .ima or .img file(s) into the window, and click “Start QEMU Test”. (There is also a checkbox letting you optionally close the program after QEMU has started). You can also use the plus (+) button located near the bottom right of the window to manually select an image file. A slider bar in the top right allows you to choose how much system RAM to to allocate to the test.
In addition, the Menu button in the bottom right of the window allows you to:
– test your USB, CD/DVD images and discs
– easily test your multiboot menu workout
– change the language (found in qsib.ini). Turkish, English and German languages are pre-installed.
QEMU Simple Boot is both portable and free.
NOTE: Please don’t use QEMU Simple Boot to test Windows OS images. It was designed for quickly testing boot loaders for USB flash drives or small image files with low resource requirements. It was not designed to be a full virtualization environment.

Thanks for your nice comment
The most amazing software I’ve ever seen
It’s basically a free, small size virtual machine
can somebody create a video on how to use it and show me i dont get it
When will the current version
With 64bit virtual systems does not work! Not even changing the parameters [Qemu_Options] Provide!
Guys, if 64 bit fails:
open the ini file and change
[Qemu_Options]
Application=qemu.exe
to
[Qemu_Options]
Application=qemu-system-x86_64.exe
Awesome work. Cut my image file testing time from minutes to just seconds.
I love it.
I wanted to ask if you could add support for testing VHD files much like the hdd suppport.
I handle a lot of bootable image files and would be awesome to check without having to go through virtual box or vmware.
