If you’ve been searching the web to understand how to test image files in QEMU, you’ve come to the right place. Our freeware, QEMU Simple Boot, simplifies the process.. It is a generic machine emulator and virtualizer. What does this mean? Imagine you have an ISO file which needs testing. You would first need to burn it to a disc, wasting time and a CD/DVD, or you could install a virtual drive and mount the ISO. But there is an easier way … QEMU Simple Boot.
how to use it:
Download the ZIP and extract it to the folder of your choice, then run Qsib.exe. The application is is very simple to use – just drag and drop your .iso, .ima or .img file(s) into the window, and click “Start QEMU Test”. (There is also a checkbox letting you optionally close the program after QEMU has started). You can also use the plus (+) button located near the bottom right of the window to manually select an image file. A slider bar in the top right allows you to choose how much system RAM to to allocate to the test.
In addition, the Menu button in the bottom right of the window allows you to:
– test your USB, CD/DVD images and discs
– easily test your multiboot menu workout
– change the language (found in qsib.ini). Turkish, English and German languages are pre-installed.
QEMU Simple Boot is both portable and free.
NOTE: Please don’t use QEMU Simple Boot to test Windows OS images. It was designed for quickly testing boot loaders for USB flash drives or small image files with low resource requirements. It was not designed to be a full virtualization environment.

I don’t understand the sense of this programm. For what it’s good/better than other .iso readers?!
awosme
I still use the software that Bluelife Codede , what a king man you are
What is the alternative to this software, I wish there was a way to edit RAM
(Erhan reisin zamanında el attıgı yazılımları hala kullanıyorum ne kral adammışsın sen ya
altarnatifi ne var bu yazılımın RAM editlemenin bir yolu olsa keşke)
Boa noite
Poderia liber uma versao compativel com 64bit
Hi, in the program there is a very old version of Qemu therefore it does not support more Ram. It was often used to browse the boot menu.
it is max ram is 1024 MB for me.
can i increase ram to 8196 MB?
how?
and last question is can i install bootable image x64?
I have many iso files without proper filenames or version numbers, will Qemu Simple Boot be able to read the install.wim or install.esd to get that missing info? It would be a good idea if it could.
thanks
